Zonair3D leads the improvement of indoor air quality in over 4,000 classrooms across the Valencian Community

Barcelona, May 2021

The Regional Government of Valencia, through its Departments of Health and Education, awarded Zonair3D the supply of more than 4,000 high-efficiency air purifiers for public and charter schools as part of a regional initiative to enhance indoor air quality in educational environments.

The program, part of a wider procurement of over 8,000 units (alongside Camfil), was implemented as a strategic public health measure to ensure safer indoor environments during and beyond the pandemic.

European innovation for healthier learning spaces

Zonair3D systems feature HEPA H14 filtration (99.995 % efficiency) combined with virucidal nanofiber coatings developed in collaboration with European research institutions, removing ultrafine particles, bacteria, and gaseous pollutants such as NO₂, SO₂, and formaldehyde.

Their plug-and-play design enables quick deployment with minimal maintenance, offering an immediate reduction in airborne contaminants and a noticeable improvement in air quality throughout classrooms and shared areas.

Health and cognitive performance benefits

Studies by the WELL Building Institute and Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health show that improved indoor air quality reduces student absenteeism by 20–30 % and enhances cognitive performance by up to 11 %, contributing directly to well-being, focus, and academic success.

Zonair3D has been recognized for its technical reliability, rapid response, and European manufacturing excellence, establishing itself as a benchmark in environmental health and educational sustainability.
